i) For the post of Jr. Clerk -cum- Copyist, Jr. Typist and Jr. Stenographer (Gr.-Ill)
A candidate in order to be eligible for the above posts
(a) shall be a citizen of India.
(b) shall have passed at least +2 examination conducted by the Council constituted under section 3 of the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 or equivalent examination from a recognized Council, Board or University as the case may be :
(c) shall have at least passed Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
(d ) must not be below 18 years and above 32 years of age as on 07.10.2016. Provided that, the upper
age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC and Women Candidates and 10 years in case of Physically Handicapped Candidates. For Ex-Serviceman, after deducting the period of service rendered in Armed Forces from the present age , the resultant age should not exceed 32 years.
(e) shall be able to speak, read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. Standard.
(f) shall be of good character. ‘
(g) shall be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity.
(h) shall have not more than one spouse living, if married.
(i) shall possess a minimum speed of 40 words in type writing in English per minute.( For the post of
(j) shall possess a minimum speed of 80 words in Shorthand and 40 words in typewriting in English per minute.( For the post of Jr. Stenographers (Grade-ill))
(ii) For the post of Salaried Amin
The Candidate must fulfill criteria No.(a), (d), (e), (f), (g) & (h) as stated above and must
(b) have passed the matriculation examination or equivalent examination of a recognized board,
(c) have passed the Revenue Inspector Training from a recognized Institution.
(iii) For the post of Driver
The Candidate must fulfill criteria No.(a), (d), (f), (g) & (h) as stated above and must
(b) have passed Class-Vlll examination in any of the recognized educational institution .
(c )have valid L.M.V. Driving licence with 3 years experience in driving and should have passed M.E.
Standard with Odia and English.
Syllabus for Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist

For the post of Typist there will be a separate test in Type writing and in case of Stenographer Grade-Ill, there will be separate test in Shorthand and Typewriting and such Typewriting and Shorthand test will be held after publication of the result of written test and the qualifying candidates are required to bring their own Typewriter machine. The date of such test will be intimated later on.
The date of examination for Computer Science (Practical) and Viva-Voce Test for qualifying candidates of Jr. Clerk-cum-Copyist, Jr. Stenographer (Gr.-Ill) and Jr. Typist will be intimated later on.
